Do we have to pay for setup?
No. If someone on your team can write your products in English, import the account yourself and pay nothing for it. The fee is there for brands who would rather not: importing a catalogue, setting prices in every currency you sell in and writing a portal in two languages takes days, and doing it properly once is what separates a page a buyer reads from a page a buyer closes. ¥200,000 is also the going rate — Japanese platforms that offer to do it for you quote from about the same figure.
Does Kapsul Pro bring us orders?
No, and we would rather say so before you pay than after. Pro shows you which stores exist, which of them suit what you make, and lets you write to them from the back office. Whether they answer is between you and them. Kapsul+ is the plan where somebody does the writing and the following up — and even there we are selling a person’s time, not a number of orders.
Can we start prospecting straight away?
Once the account is complete enough to be ordered from — published, with wholesale terms and a firm currency tariff. It is not a hurdle we invented: a store that opens a request and finds a brand it cannot actually buy from stops opening them, and the introduction is then worth nothing to anyone. That is what the first plan is for.
Why is the monthly cheaper on a year?
Because wholesale runs in seasons, and a year is the shortest honest test of whether Kapsul works for you — one spring/summer and one autumn/winter. Month to month is ¥25,000, six months ¥22,500, a year ¥20,000. Start short and move onto a year later if you want.
Can we move up a plan later?
Yes, and most brands should. Run a season on the tool, see where you actually lose time, then decide whether you want the directory or a person. Moving sets nothing up again.
What does 0% forever actually mean?
Bring the stores you have sold to for years and Kapsul takes no cut of that relationship — not for a first season, not ever. Those accounts were yours before us and they leave with you, contacts exported. The subscription is what pays for the tool; we are only paid a commission on buyers you find through Kapsul.
What does it cost a store?
Nothing. No subscription, no fee on an order, no cut of what it buys. A store pays the brand, at the price the brand set.
